General Information: The TVQ/Planet Patchwork website (http://planetpatchwork.com) has rapidly become one of the most popular quilting-related sites on the internet, with more than 2 million visitors. Current visitation at Planet Patchwork approaches 80,000 individual visitors per month and about 190,000 pages views. The Virtual Quilt Newsletter, published eight times a year, is widely known and respected, with circulation of more than 2,200 computer-savvy quilters. Planet Patchwork accepts ads in the newsletter and at the website and is seeking to provide reasonably priced web advertising with the small quilt-related business in mind. Planet Patchwork will be pleased to work with you to develop affordable, customized advertising programs that meet your needs. We will also assist you in writing effective and arresting advertising copy. Below is a general schedule of pricing.

Business Links: Free. A simple link to your quilt-related business’s web site and/or e-mail address on the business links page is free. Planet Patchwork requests a voluntary reciprocal link from your site, if you have one.

TVQ Newsletter Ads: $10 per ad, up to 100 words; 3 ads for $25. Ads can be the same or different in each issue. (See below for package with Planet Patchwork Bazaar listings.)

Quiltopia Maillist Ads:  $19.99 per week or $59.99 for a month. Your ad, up to three 72-character lines, will appear on every message and digest of the list  for the period of your ad. Each message goes out to more than 1,500 subscribers to the list. This is an excellent way to gain name recognition among quilters and to make your website or business more visible in a  very short time. You can run up to three different ads per week.

Planet Patchwork Bazaar listings: $49.99 per year. This includes a 300-word business listing on the Planet Patchwork Bazaar page, accompanied by a small graphic (provided by the advertiser, or Planet Patchwork will scan from appropriate photograph), including e-mail and web page links. Also includes up to 4 ads (up to 100 words each) per year in the TVQ newsletter.

Also available to purchasers of Bazaar listings is the Planet Patchwork Freebies Page, a very popular destination for visitors, where our vendors offer free items or special offers which increase their visibility. Our advertisers also receive exposure in the Planet Patchwork Update, which goes out to thousands of quilters on our mailing list approximately monthly.
