Poppies Block-of-the-Month Club
 In this twist on a block-of-the-month club, we
will send you 1/2 yard or more of coordinating fabric, more than enough for you
to make a 12" finished (12-1/2-inch unfinished) block of your choice. After
completing your block, return it to us. We will draw several winners each month
at random (number of winners determined by number of participants). Winners will
receive at least 12 squares each, depending on the number of players.
We will keep a supply of the block-of-the-month
fabric on hand, for winners who wish to have additional fabric to complete their
quilt.
This is a great way to try out new quilt

Workshop
I am an artisan living in the Sierra Nevada
foothills of northern California. Currently I am making pillows, 18" X
18", with a square of patchwork, knitting or crochet in the front center.
The patchwork pieces are free-form and
spontaneous, sometimes an improvisation on traditional patterns, sometimes just
"crazy" patching. Each piece is unique and original. If you wish we
can discuss by e-mail the kinds of colors you would like for your pillow. All
squares are framed by natural-colored cotton duck and backed with burlap or
cotton.
The knit and crochet patches are worked from
traditional patterns in cream or ecru-colored cotton yarn. They are framed and
backed with cotton duck or upholstery fabrics in natural shades of white or
cream.
All pillow covers are removable and should be
dry-cleaned. Any clean, unused piece may be returned for a refund if you are not
satisfied.
The price for the patchwork pillows is $50 and
$75 for the knit or crochet pieces. All orders require a $7.00
